Remembrance Day

Friday 16th November 2018

Six pupils took part in the Remembrance Service at Albion Towers, a block of flats located next to school.  A Year 6 pupil read out the prayers and a Y2 pupil laid a wreath.

All KS2 children took part in a Poetry and Poppy workshop where they performed poems linked to Remembrance Day.

Six pupils (half term heroes) were taken to the Imperial War Museum North to see the poppy display and look at the WWI exhibition.

All pupils made a poppy which now forms part of our wonderful hall display - We Will Remember Them.
