Our experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator is non-class based enabling her to give intensive one to one support to those children who need it.
We also invest in specialist Speech and Language support, with a Speech and Language therapist working in school for 18 days a year and liaising with trained support staff who deliver speech and language programmes all year round.
We liaise closely with the Educational Psychologist and other specialist support services where
'The dedication, skill and support offered by the special educational needs coordinator and deputy headteacher help to ensure that pupils with disabilities or special educational needs make at least good progress across different year groups, from very low starting points.' Ofsted 2014.
